Walking Counts

Walking counts, even when it does not look like exercise.

A walk after breakfast. A lap around the block. Parking a little farther away. Taking the stairs when it works for you. Walking with a friend.

Those minutes add up.

You do not need a gym membership, special equipment, or a marathon plan to begin moving more. Regular walking can support your heart, mood, sleep, balance, and ability to stay active.

Start where you are.

Choose a walk that feels safe and comfortable. If 10 minutes is what works today, start with 10 minutes. The best walk is the one you can do again tomorrow.

Small walks are still real movement. They count.
